5/19/2023 0 Comments Inferno sneak preview dan brownProduction was expected to begin in mid-2013, but around that time Sony announced that they would adapt Inferno instead for a 2016 release. Three screenwriters, including Brown himself, were hired to work on the adaptation, and a final draft of the script was expected in early 2013. It's interesting to note that the third book in the series, The Lost Symbol, was originally planned as the follow-up to Angels & Demons. While the trailer may address Langdon's status at the beginning of the film and set up the trail of clues that he has to follow, it's unlikely that the first trailer will focus on much beyond the mystery of the switch and some of the action seen within the film. It likely won't reveal too much, of course, since part of the fun of Brown's novels (and their adaptations) is the mysteries that Langdon has to figure out. The full-length trailer is due out tomorrow, so the story of the film may be fleshed out a bit more then.
